On Tiger Woods' Return
48
Tiger Woods is making his return to competitive golf next month at the PGA's first major, The Masters. As many of you know, Tiger is returning after his five month world-wind affair of infidelity in his marriage with his wife Elin. To be quite honest, I'm really excited for Tiger to come back. He's the most exciting golfer on the Tour now without a doubt. I feel like Tiger has paid his debt. He's apologized to the public, despite the fact that it was awkward and seemed very staged. He did two interviews with ESPN and The Golf Channel this week. He's trying to get his story out there and he's doing a good job. Even though he decided not to answer some of the questions that were posed, he still managed to divulge a fair amount of information about what has been happening over the past few months.
The First Round at the Masters
Tiger's first round at the Masters is not going to be as crazy as some are anticipating. Tiger chose Augusta for a reason. Augusta has always been known as having the best behaved crowd in any major. The crowds aren't going to boo him or tear him apart like they would in another tournament. They'll be respectful to him. Tiger did express concern about this in his interview with ESPN saying that he hopes that are some claps. There are going to be claps and applause. However, despite the tradition of being the best behaved crowd, there are still going to be fans who will show their emotions.
Tiger's Legacy
Tiger's legacy solely as a professional golfer will be one of achievement. Most likely, Tiger is going to break Jack Nicklaus' Major record of 18 by the end of his career. Unfortunately for Tiger, that's not going to mean as much as his infidelity to his wife. This is always going to loom over his career as a professional golfer and it's going to be the thing that stops him from being the all-time most successful athlete to ever play a sport. From now on, when people think of Tiger, they're going to think of how he cheated on his wife all of those times. They won't think about his Major wins or any of his legendary clutch moments. It's a dark cloud that will never be able to be lifted. Tiger Woods' legacy, as of right now, will be one of achievement on the golf course, but one of constant struggle off of it.
Yay Kyle! Although what Tiger did was wrong, it shouldn't affect his career. His golfing has nothing to do with his infedelities (sp?) so I say let the man play!

I have always loved Tiger, you see what he did was bad(We are all imperfect beings) but folks in his class does it everyday and every minute.Someday, it might be someone we don't even expect. After this sunset, whoever wishes to remember him not with his true tiger fame but with infidelity should take a mirror and ask the image that will reflect if the image is better than Tiger Woods.
